Garland Texas VAMC Surveillance Upgrade

MTS completed the installation of a surveillance and security system at the Garland VAMC, Garland Texas. The project includes cabling and equipment installation for 190 cameras, 80 doors, upgrades to the Lynx communications system, Code Blue system, egress, and facility access control and intrusion systems. The MTS team works seamless with the Garland and Dallas VA staff to ensure coordination for integration to the VA OIT network, configuration of VA video management systems and software, and programming and activation for all physical equipment components and over 300 users. Infrastructure support includes copper, composite, and fiber optic cabling installed in new raceways, conduit, and manholes to ensure system connectivity.

MTS has not experienced any deductions or liquidated damages on this project. MTS, to date, has not experienced any terminations or defaults on this project. This project is anticipated to be completed ahead of schedule and within budget.

Temple Texas VAMC Guest WIFI Installation

MTS designed, configured, and deployed a Guest WIFI system solution for Temple Texas VAMC. It included installation of an air-gapped copper and fiber backbone, system firewall, 175 Ruckus wireless access points, 50+ switches, controllers, and associated ancillary equipment to support wireless services concurrently for over 2,000 VA patients and guests visiting the facility daily. The guest WIFI was installed in multiple facilities and units at Temple VAMC, to include the two main hospital buildings, the CLC, and the Mental Health facility.

MTS successful performance on the initial contract resulted in a contract modification for the expansion of the Guest WIFI at Temple VAMC, and a separate contract to provide similar services at Waco VAMC.

MTS did not experience any deductions or liquidated damages on this project. MTS did not experience any terminations or defaults on this project. This project was completed on schedule and within budget.

The guest WIFI was installed in multiple facilities Waco VAMC, to include several clinics, three CLCs, and the Center of Excellence located at Waco, Texas.

MTS did not experience any deductions or liquidated damages on this project. MTS did not experience any terminations or defaults on this project. This project was completed on schedule and within budget.

MTS provided PACS services to USACE Little Rock for the Arkansas and Table Rock, Missouri NERC powerhouses and dams with a CCURE software and firmware system update that will support upcoming additional phases to install cameras at the dams and powerhouses, and intrusion detection systems. MTS is currently exercising Option 1 for annual maintenance and support services.

Tinker AFB, OK – A/V Upgrade

MTS provided an upgrade for 72ABW/Tinker AFB, OK, Civil Engineering division’s incident command post, including installing new cabling and hardware, a large display, and new conferencing capability.

Waco Laundry & CLC PACS

MTS has completed a PACS requirement in support of VISN 17, Waco Laundry and CLC facilities and integrating the locations and additional 80+ cameras and an NVR, onto the existing Software House/ American Dynamics (Victor/ Video-Edge/CCURE) system.

MTS provided VISN 17 Central Texas with CCURE and Video Edge end user training in September and October 2020 to allow the VA to directly support and the security system, eliminating 3rd party vendor maintenance support; realizing significant cost savings.
